The HTB project is an initiative led by a dynamic team of five individuals, each bringing diverse backgrounds in technical and business domains. Our collaboration is driven by a shared commitment to continuous learning and a collective initiative to explore the intricate intersection of ICT technology and its real-world applications.
Our primary goal is to enhance technical and entrepreneurial understanding proficiency, developing a purposeful and marketable product. Beyond expanding our collective knowledge, we aim to deliver a product of unique value that resonates with end-users.
Acknowledging the unparalleled learning opportunity embedded in this comprehensive immersion, we deliberately commit ourselves to assume responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle – from inception to project closure. The core objective of our project is to broaden our technical and business expertise through a comprehensive development approach. By starting from the top and engaging in hands-on experience and collaborative problem-solving, we aim to refine our skills across various areas, including programming, business analysis, UI/UX design principles, product and project management, branding, business modelling and the intricacies of mobile app blossoming.
Our focus is on developing a cutting-edge habit-tracking mobile application. In response to the increasing awareness of personal development and well-being, habit tracking has evolved into a crucial tool for individuals striving to establish positive routines. Our product, Habital, takes a unique approach by facilitating habit-building as a group. The market potential for such an application is substantial, backed by research. Habital is designed to meet the needs of a growing demographic seeking effective ways to enhance productivity and overall well-being.
Simultaneously, we are focused on gaining practical insights into entrepreneurship. The project will serve as a platform for learning business strategies, market analysis, and product management. Each team member has the opportunity to try different positions or roles for hands-on experience. By navigating the challenges of creating and launching a product, our goal is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between technology and business at the same time and design career progressions in the areas of interest.
The project's primary objective is to attain the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), complemented by a thorough market and customer research investigation to identify the MVP requirements precisely for the potential further increments in the future. The team will be segmented into the business, design, and engineering teams, actively participating in ongoing discussions using the agile method to optimise outcomes within the specified constraints of time and resources.
Acknowledging the distinct roles within the teams, this project will consider workload distribution and adapt based on individuals' availability. While prioritising learning and exploration, certain business considerations may be compromised to align with the broader mission; however, we will strive to strike a balance through effective communication.
The successful development and launch of our habit-tracking application not only contribute to our individual skill sets but also position us as contributors to the thriving iOS app market.
By delivering a product with substantial value, we anticipate positively impacting users' lives while establishing ourselves as a formidable team in the tech and entrepreneurial landscape. As we embark on this journey together, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
